Hi Petya and thanks for sharing :)
How did you choose these 50 accounts? And what is your opinion – why don’t they have more followers?

Hi Eva, Thanks for your comment! :)
As I said, I follow the people behind these accounts, I check out what they do online and I’m sure here are selected pretty famous names. In addition, I have previewed their presence on Slideshare and have found something that can be helpful not only for me but for other people as well.
Regarding your questions on the followers: Do you pay attention at the number of followers? Because, in general, I don’t – it’s not a measure of quality or professionalism. What’s more, Slideshare is not of those kinds of social network where people tend to “follow” (in my opinion), they just go there, observe, check out presentations, share them, embed them, etc. So I think it’s not worthy to wonder why there aren’t more followers. Let’s put the emphasis on the value :)

Thanks for the answer, Petya!
Because of you and professional opinion, I’ve already followed these people and will read all the interesting presentations.
And no – it’s not important for me how many followers do they have, I was just curious about your opinion :)
I am definitely going to follow those accounts too. Thanks for sharing with us Mr. Petya.

This is a great list, but many on it are not even active users of Slideshare. Some (e.g. Brian Solis) don’t even have presentations uploaded at all. Maybe this list could have been better if it was compiled based on the participation/interactivity of the user — not just the influence of the person/account’s name?

Hi Bridget, Thanks for your comment :)
What impressed me during my search on Slideshare is that it’s difficult to find active users who constantly provide valuable content on this platform. On the other hand, (in my opinion) producing good presentations is not an easy work and this explains why people can’t upload great presentations on a daily basis. That’s why I decided that it’s good to follow the influencers in order to stay tuned when they have something new. In addition, most of the accounts in the list have at least one presentation uploaded as of the article date. I see now that Brian Solis (as you pointed out) has no presentations currently and maybe I missed this when I was working on the list. I’m sorry to see that the article wasn’t good enough for you, but I’m sure that there are very helpful presentations provided by the majority of the accounts in this list. The time I’m spending on checking presentations is very important and useful for me and I’m interested in catching up with the presentations the big names are creating. Of course, I’m sure that there are a lot other great accounts which are interesting to follow too.
Hi Petya thanks for including me on this list. Have a great weekend.
