[This post is highly recommended for social media addicts]
Hi, nice people. I am back from the country side. It’s always amazing to get out of the city and to travel. And yesterday I rewarded my body with sauna and swimming. As I felt absolutely fed up with social media and exhausted from staying in front of the laptop, it was a very natural decision to took some time off during the weekend. Hope you did the same. You are welcome to tell me more about your weekend in the comments below ;)
Last week I saw the Column Five Media infographic for social media addicts. Maybe you saw it too. I want to post it here because I’d like to highlight one thing: I know that being great comms professionals is not easy as social media increased our working time up to 24 hours 7 days a week. But social media is not the most important thing in the world and it’s very normal, natural and desirable for you to take your time away from all these platforms. It’s great to do so during the weekends, for example. Little breaks after 5 days full-time usage of all kinds of social media channels will have a very positive effect on you. In addition, living life [not only tweeting about it] is the most social thing you can do ever ;)
Please, check out the infrographic and promise me to think up of some good activities you will plan to do asap.

Nice infographic! I really like how you put it in the post: living life is indeed the most social thing!
Personally, I have planned a week-long social media/technology escape holiday during the start of the summer with lots of sand, sea-water, good music and the occasional cuba libre :)

I should admit that social media detox for more than 3 days is quite unpleasant experience for me, except when it’s summer and I am spending the whole day on the beach :)

Thanks for the link Petya, awesome infographic, even if I don’t feel like I specifically need detox from social media, I sure could use some from electronic devices in general, but hey, it’s very very hard.. I think I’ll pass for now :D

aw, you’re so modest! :) I follow so many people and their presence online and one of the best impressions on social media behavior is from you and you know it :) Commenting here is really appreciated, Gabriele! But now I would like kindly to add that I can’t wait to read more about those augmented reality ads… haha ;) Happy Monday!
